ASK Razer Blade 2021 - RZ09-0367ce53 BIOS Needed

Laptops and Desktop Bios, Schematic and Boardview Files And Repairing Discussion
I need to flash my Razer since I had a Bios corruption and I used to have a backup, but that laptop had issues last year and I lost all of my files.

Hoping someone has a BIOS I could flash - Not sure what else would be needed?? Its the i7, RTX 3080 early 2021 model.

Thanks@

Apologies - Not sure where the info you need is located - The back of the laptop only has the serial number on it - and Im not sure where the board code is located on the MB? I'm attaching a few pics just in case...

Open the motherboard you'll see board code and also write model number and serial number

Yeah I looked at the MB and didn't see much - then I remembered under the battery had some information, not sure it's what you need but attached, as is the model and serial from the bottom of the unit. Also a pic from the box that had some ID in it.

Thanks for the file - It looks like a similar one that was posted in another request, which I did try yesterday, later in the day and the one in this reply has the same issue that one had.

First, it didnt boot right away - The laptop would power (big plus from the previous BIOS I had - which was bad, it was only 12MB and not 16MB - hence the mess Im in). But only the keyboard lit up, no screen - not even the external monitor. It would then reboot after 10-15 seconds. I know this happens when you flash a BIOS like this - but, while its been a few years since I needed to do this, I dont remember it being this "bad". The fans didnt spin either, after 3-4 auto reboots the LCD came up and the system booted into Windows - Sort of.

Once in Windows, the login screen appears, and it tries to use Hello - but it fails, with a pin error? (Pin is the backup to hello for me). It claims I havent set a pin, which I did - and it worked before all of this. So, I re-enabled my pin and logged into the desktop. This was not easy at all, which is the next issue - The graphics were acting up during this process - The screen would warp, become un-readable, etc... (See Screenshots attached).

Once I did get to a desktop, it seemed to be working okay - but after a minute or two, that started to have graphic issues as well (See screenshot of settings -> recovery)

So, next - I was going to do a reboot into the BIOS from the advanced recovery, but before I could, it rebooted again. The initial reboot did the same thing as the initial power-up did after flashing. Starts to boot (keyboard lights, fans) - nothing on the screens. Rebooted itself 3 more times, and finally, the LCD came on and it started to boot to the advanced recovery options. It was SLOW to boot, but I finally was able to select reboot to UEFI and the system rebooted again, multiple times in a similar sequence (Power on, keyboard lit, fans ramping up - after 10-15 seconds, reboot and same process). After 4 auto reboots, the BIOS finally came up - I did a restore defaults, just in case - saved and restarted. Of course, same reboot sequence started and when back into Windows, same graphics issues.

Any ideas on these issues? It was all perfect until I flashed the bad BIOS yesterday morning, so the system has no damage / etc... Is it the BIOS?

Oh, one more thing - after I reset my pin, Windows Hello worked fine - but now the system has other issues (aside from the boot issues).

Graphics are still fried all over the place, and at idle the CPU is up to 90C, maxed at 97C, after being at the desktop for about 1 minute - fans also ramped up like crazy. Before this issue, the Idle would be 53C or so, and even standard web browsing and standard "work" tasks, the temp would not go over 65C.

install fresh Windows and test

Hey - Yeah, I should have thought about trying the razer flash once I was in windows but instead, while on a crisis call with work - I was multitasking and when flashing the clip jumped and shorted the bios chip. I can still read and write to it, but the machine won't power at all now. I have a new chip coming Sunday, hoping to may be other pins on the chip causing the issues?? im pretty upset with myself :) at least it's not a new laptop - so it could be worse.

On that note - any ideas you may have besides replacing the chip, which i can do sunday... I don't have schematics to know what to trace out unfortunately.

Upload photo old bios chip can help replacment

I have the correct chip coming and while I thought i could read and write to the chip, I just tried a write with a verify and it fails - so im guessing the chip is one issue now. I checked the voltage and the chip reads 2.7v, so it's lower than the expected 3.3v.

Attaching a screenshot of the bios chip and the surrounding components

I cant see name bios chip.

oh yeah, you won't see it - it's been scratched up too much. I know its a winbond 25Q128JVSQ - I've flashed it a few times over the years.

You've been very helpful and I appreciate it! hate to ask a non bios question but im going to, hoping you might know. I've attached a picture, do you happen to know if that missing chip is supposed to be there or if it's blank Intentionally (the 330 inductor... if it is missing)
