This thread is for the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 with main board 6050A2848001.

The board was manufactured by Inventec for HP. Inventec board numbers start with 6050A, so you can confirm it on the PCB silkscreen.

From the title: convertible (2-in-1) design.

Files usually needed for this board
  • BIOS (full SPI chip dump, .bin)
  • Schematic (PDF)
  • Boardview (.brd / .bdv / .cad)

Typical reasons to reflash: no POST after a failed BIOS update, a corrupted BIOS chip after a power cut, or a board that powers on with no display.

Back up the original dump first — it contains machine-specific data (serial, UUID, MAC, ME), and you will want it if anything goes wrong.
