About this board

This thread is for the Lenovo Thinkpad T14s Gen 5 with main board NM-F832.

Lenovo had this board built by LCFC; LCFC (Lenovo/Compal) board numbers start with NM-. Check the number printed on the PCB before you download. Board revision: 1.0. Match the revision as well as the board number.

Files usually needed for this board
  • BIOS (full SPI chip dump, .bin)
  • EC / KBC firmware, if the board uses a separate EC chip
  • Schematic (PDF)
  • Boardview (.brd / .bdv / .cad)

Usually needed when the laptop powers on with a black screen after a BIOS update, is stuck in a boot loop, or is locked with a BIOS password.

Before flashing, always read and save the original chip. It holds the serial number, UUID, MAC address and ME data for that exact machine.

My bad, I didn't specify whether I needed the U2202 file from that website:

BIOS - T14s Gen 5 (Type 21LS, 21LT) Laptop (ThinkPad) NM-F832 Rev 1.0

it's not obvious, but this large file is not a bios, it may be responsible for connecting an external video card, I don't know, but it's not a biosbios is located on the U2202 chip, which is also located there. If it's not too much trouble, you can provide it.
